Anyway, today's topic I wish to discuss is hook up sites. It seems to me that every guy has a different perspective of what these sites are for. Some guys use them to find a boyfriend, others want to make new friends, but most use them for what I believe they are intended for. Sex. What I do find quite comical is when a guys has a profile picture of him semi naked, or just a torso with no face picture and his profile says he's only looking for friends!??? I don't understand. Why would you have a almost naked picture of you on your profile in a sexual provocative pose, but only be looking for friends.whats even funnier is when they have in block capitals on their profile ' NOT LOOKING FOR NSF'. If your not looking for a fuck guys then change your pictures. You will only attract the wrong kind of attention. Surely goes without saying??
Something else I can't stand, and I'm sure many if you will agree is faceless profile pictures. Why guys!!? Why bother contacting me if you cant be fussed to put a photo of yourself up. Are you really that ugly? Do you honestly think guys are going to meet you if they haven't even seen u? You wouldn't walk up to a guy in a bar with a bag on your head and not show them your face.
Now, I know my pictures on here do not show my face, thats because i don't use this to hook up with guys. i use this to get my voice out there and take a few naughty photos for my fans to enjoy. But my personal hook up profiles do! I have all kinds of photos available on my personal profiles, how else am I suppose to expect guys to show my profile interest without pictures?
Is it obvious that some sites are definitely for sex. Squirt.org is one of them. It's slogan is 'hot n horny hook ups', which pretty much says it all. For those of you who haven't used squirt before, it's a crushing site for sex. Not only does it show you who's online in your area, it has quite a lot more going on. You can check out cruising areas around you and comment when you will be going there. It gives you details of when the best times to go are and any dangers around, ( such as if its a spot regularly checked by police). The site has a separate page called daily squirt which is updated daily with pictures, videos, and story's of all things gay. It also has 'Squirt TV' which shows porn. Squirt even has its own series of porn movies called cocktails which you can view for free on the site. Another cool little feature is a free game called 'Kingdom Cum'. You basically choose a character to play then run around the platform looking for guys to fuck. You have a goal number to reach and when you have fucked enough guys you can go to the next level. Just a random bit of fun for you to play with while searching for a fuck.
One of my favourites, and probably the best know is 'Gaydar'. It's so easy to use, and I've always found fun on here. Gaydar's slogan is 'What you want, when you want it'. Gaydar is the first 'gay dating' I used. I signed up when I was 17 and just lied about my age and began meeting guys almost straight away. I still done see it as a site you would go to and find a relationship. I guess you could but I always think of it as a sex site. If you look in the chat rooms, most of the guys are looking to get fucked. Now, I have found boyfriends from the site, but both myself and the guy I met we're not on the site looking for a boyfriend. We wanted to fuck. Thats how most of my relationships start from here. I find a fuck, find out I like the guy then start dating. A nice little touch that gaydar do is if you click on a link to manzone you will be given a free porn scene to either download or watch online. This s changed daily.
Manhunt.net is one that I quite like as the chat system in it is a video chat. You do not have to use your camera to go into the chat rooms, you can just perve at the other guys who have their cams on. Most of the guys who have their cams on like to put on a little show. I myself have a profile on here and can be found naked on cam playing with toys or jerking off. My profile name is thegayriddler.
The rest of the site is pretty much the same as other hook up sites. You can search for guys local in the area to you, swap photos, use chat etc. he site also has its own blog called manhunt daily which is updated about porn and gay news.
My final site I am going to talk about is Grindr. This has to be the most popular by far at the minute. If you haven't heard if it, then where are you living??? Grindr is a free app available for download on iPhone, iPad, or android users. You set up a profile with a photo and describe a little about yourself. Then, the app uses your location and finds other gay guys around you using the app. It will show you how close or how far away the guys are. It's a brilliant little tool if you really want a duck and need somebody close by. You can swap photos, send your location and chat. If you really want, you can upgrade to GrindrXtra, which I have done previously but didn't really find you get much 'Xtra'. A few extra features are you get to swipe across profiles quicker, and search for more guys around you sounds good, an a few other little things, however I don't think it's worth a monthly payment just for that little bit extra when the free Grindr is fine as it is. With the free app you get to view up to 100 guys. With 'Xtra you get to view up to 200 more. I think if you can view 100 guys around you and you cannot find one then that's pretty bad!
I must say a that at the moment, Grindr is my favourite, just because its so quick and easy to use. It does sometimes seem to go through fazes where it will crash or you may not get messages, but apart from that I really rate this app.
